Low-power amplifier

The operational amplifier features an operating voltage range from 1.6V to 5.5V and a quiescent current of only 240 nanoamps, making it suitable for battery-powered systems without the need for a boost circuit. It also includes an enable function to further conserve power. Despite its ultra-low power consumption, it achieves a bandwidth of 4 kilohertz, making it suitable for applications such as carbon monoxide detection, smoke detection, and pyroelectric infrared detection. Additionally, the low-power operational amplifier uses complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (CMOS FETs) as the input stage, offering femtoamp-level input bias current.
