The ADX514 is a precision, wide dynamic range, Δ-Σ type 24-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. The use of Delta-Sigma architecture ensures not only a wide dynamic range but also guarantees 24-bit no-missing-codes performance. For conversion rates up to 20kHz, it achieves an effective resolution of 19 bits (with 2ppm RMS noise). The ADX514 is designed for high-resolution measurement applications in cardiac diagnostics, smart transmitters, industrial process control, weighing scales, chromatography, and portable instrumentation. This converter includes a flexible two-wire synchronous serial interface for low-cost isolation. The ADX514 is a multi-channel converter available in an SSOP-20 package.
