The OPA505/OPA506 is one of the ultra-low-power operational amplifiers provided by Analogy. The quiescent current of the OPA505/OPA506 operational amplifiers is only 3.2 μA, and the operating voltage ranges from 1.6 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for most battery-powered environments and able to maintain stability without the need for additional boost topologies. The OPA505/OPA506 devices maintain low power consumption and a 65 kHz bandwidth, working well with devices such as CO detectors, smoke detectors, and PIR motion detectors. Additionally, the OPA505/OPA506 operational amplifiers feature a CMOS input stage, with bias currents typically in the femtoamp range.
