  • The ADX826 is a high-performance single-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC). This device includes a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a Δ-Σ (Delta-Sigma) modulator, and a digital filter. The ADC supports two operation modes that offer trade-offs between power consumption and resolution. A dual-channel multiplexer features inputs for signal measurement and ADC signal testing. One mode can be used to short the input and test internal noise. The PGA has high input impedance and low noise, allowing direct connection to geophone and hydrophone sensors. The digital filter provides data rates from 250 to 4000 SPS. The high-pass filter (HPF) has a programmable corner frequency. On-chip gain and offset scaling registers support system calibration. Synchronous input controls the timing of ADC conversion. The power-down input places the ADC to power-down mode. The ADX826 is available in a compact 24-pin 5mm × 4mm QFN package, with an operating temperature range of −40°C to 85°C.
