The AU3107/AU3108 is a 10W-per-channel, high-efficiency, low static current Class D stereo audio amplifier capable of driving stereo speakers with a load as low as 3.2Ω. The AU3107 operates in BD mode to achieve better THD+N performance, while the AU3108 supports 1SPW mode for improved thermal performance. The operating voltage range for both models is 8V to 14.5V. In terms of EMC performance, the AU3107/AU3108 supports optimized spread-spectrum functionality and phase shifting between the two channels. This allows the use of inexpensive ferrite bead filters while meeting EMC test standards, effectively reducing system costs. To further simplify the design process, the AU3107/AU3108 integrates essential protection functions, including undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit, overtemperature, and DC speaker protection. All these protections come with automatic recovery functionality.
