The HD70xx2Q is a dual-channel intelligent high-side switch designed for automotive applications, featuring 3V and 5V CMOS-compatible input control pins and two independent output channels. This device is widely used in 12V automotive ground load applications, providing intelligent protection and diagnostic functions. The HD70xx2Q integrates advanced protection features, including overcurrent limitation, relative overtemperature protection, and overheat shutdown protection with configurable lockout functionality. The "FaultRST" pin allows for automatic output recovery or lockout in case of a fault. Additionally, the HD70xx2Q features a dedicated multi-function multi-plexed analog output pin, CS, which enables complex diagnostic functions, including high-precision proportional load current detection, output overload and ground short-circuit warning, VCC short-circuit diagnosis, and OFF-state open-circuit diagnosis. The input pin SEn serves as the detection enable pin for the HD70xx2Q, allowing for the disabling of diagnostic functions during the OFF state to achieve lower power consumption. Furthermore, in systems using multiple HD70xx2Q devices, the SEn pin can implement a single ADC sampling channel and a single CS-to-ground resistor, significantly optimizing system implementation costs.The HD70xx2Q dual-channel series currently includes four models: HD70152, HD70202, HD70402, and HD70802, corresponding to 15, 20, 40, and 80mΩ internal resistances, respectively. Each model is available in SSOP14 and SSOP16 packages, ensuring perfect compatibility with competitor products.
