  • The ADX920/1/2/3 devices are multi-channel, simultaneous sampling, 24-bit, Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that feature a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), an internal reference, and an on-board oscillator. These devices integrate all the functionalities typically required for portable, low-power medical electrocardiogram (ECG) applications, as well as for fitness and exercise monitoring systems. With their high level of integration and excellent performance, the ADX920/1/2/3 devices enable the creation of scalable medical instrument systems with significantly reduced size, power consumption, and overall cost. Each channel of the ADX920/1/2/3 devices includes a flexible input multiplexer that can independently connect to internally generated signals for testing, temperature measurement, and lead-off detection. Moreover, any input channel configuration can be configured to derive a right-leg drive (RLD) output signal. The ADX920/1/2/3 devices operate at data rates up to 8 kSPS. Lead-off detection can be accomplished internally using the device's current sink or source excitation capabilities. The ADX922/3 models additionally feature fully integrated respiratory impedance measurement functionality. The specified operating temperature range is from –40°C to 85°C.
